Big Glee casting news to pass along today ? late yesterday it was reported that actor Chord Overstreet has been ousted as a series regular on the hit Fox series. Altho he hasn?t been fired from the show, he is no longer a series regular character ? which means he?ll prolly feature in a few eps for the entire season. In happier news, actors Darren Criss and Harry Shum, Jr. have been bumped up to series regular castmembers on Glee. It?s a case of good news/bad news for Glee fans courtesy of Ryan Murphy. First the good: Darren Criss (Blaine) and Harry Shum Jr. (Mike) have officially been upgraded to full-time series regulars, effective this fall with the start of Season 3. And now for the bad? Chord Overstreet?s series regular option has not been picked up.
